Reconsidering Museums

About the Course:

This course provides training for individuals interested in a more in-depth overview of how to use and apply the Reconsidering Museums toolkit. Through completing this training, individuals will gain an understanding of the Reconsidering Museums project and its outcomes, the purpose and value of the different resources in the toolkit, as well as how to use and apply the resources to their own work.

This course is a self-paced, module-based, asynchronous course.  There are four modules that are designed to be taken in order, but participants can access any or all modules based on their interests. Modules include Introduction to Reconsidering Museums, What Museums Mean to Canadians, Changing the Conversation, and Taking the Step into Activism. The course is free and open to all.
